Up for sale is my 1994 K1500 Chevy Truck, 5.7L, 2-door, Ext Cab, Z71 4x4. I began a complete restoration project but, due to personal circumstances, I am no longer able to finish it. My lose is your gain.This truck was running and driving very well before disassembly. The engine and transmission were both in very good working condition. I decided to perform a full refresh and restoration rather than wait for parts to fail.Work Completed:• Entire exterior stripped and coated with gray truck bed liner• Interior cab coated with black sound-deadening paint• Bed and cab removed from chassis (and replaced)• Chassis treated with rust neutralizer and rust inhibitor• Engine bay and engine power washed• Exhaust manifold removed, painted, and wrapped• New headlights installed• New taillights installed• Hood fitted with dual hood ventsIncluded Parts:• Complete engine gasket kit (new)• New A/C compressor• Heavy-duty aftermarket rear bumper• Large front brush guard• Plastic bed liner• Stock wheels with good tiresCurrent Condition:• Cylinder heads removed as part of gasket replacement project• Front windshield needs replacement• Rear window needs replacement• Front bucket seats need recovering• Interior panels have been removed and painted black and are includedAftermarket air intake includedThe only rust I have found on the truck is a small hole in a bend of the exhaust pipe. The frame and chassis are solid.This truck earned my respect during the Texas freeze of 2021. No matter how cold it got (parked outside not garage), it fired up every time with no drag or hesitation.
