1996 RAM 1500, 4X4

If you're reading this, I still have it.I've got a good running and driving truck for sale. I don't care if I need to go 2 miles or 200 miles, it'll do the job. I've gotten an almost identical truck, but with more towing capacity to replace it. That's the only reason I'm selling. It is 30 years old and a working truck so it has some quirks I've never had time or inclination to take care of.It's got the 5.9 Magnum engine (360 c.i.), automatic, 4X4 and 3.55 gears with a sur-grip rear. The 4X4 works fine. Pretty solid with very little rust. The transmission was rebuilt shortly before I got it (have papers) and I've gone through the suspension, brakes, steering since I've had it. It got the plenum repair about 4 years ago. I did a major tune up at that time.174K on the clock. If you want a new truck, this isn't it. Figure on 10 to 20 times what I'm wanting for one of those. If you want a smooth driving car with a box on the back, this isn't it. If you want a truck either because you live out away from town or need to work and haul stuff, this is for you. It does NOT have a brake controller but pulls light trailers and tow dollies with cars on them just fine. If you want to be part of the analog resistance and don't need computer control for your windows, this is for you. It has the ignition and fuel injection computer and nothing else. Transfer the title and put your plates on it and go.It has a "Farmer Chic" paint job. I spend a lot of time in the woods from time to time and tree limb scrapes are easy to touch up on this truck. The newer replacement will eventually get the same paint treatment. The tires on it have great tread. I have another set of massive tires on rims for extra. I only use them in the winter as they ride like a log wagon, but I've never gotten stuck with them. The extra tires and wheels are available for extra.I have a clean and clear Indiana title in my name. The frame is solid and the body is mostly straight with little rust.
