1998 GMC C3500HD

3500HD is like a medium duty truck with a regular body on it. The furthest thing from a normal 3500. Very heavy duty, solid beam front axle with drop spindles, massive rear axle, huge 4 wheel disc brakes, 12,000 lb PAYLOAD, extended wheelbase with 11' flatbed on it now. Fairly clean work truck, has good tires, good brakes, good solid automatic transmission, 6.5 Turbo Diesel. Very clean underneath barely leaks anything. Nevada truck so no rust. Original paint is peeling. Removed original West Coast mirrors (wouldnt fit through a 10' wide gate) and replaced with modern style tow mirrors. Has a set of 4' tall steel frame bedsides that slide into the stake pockets. Great for hauling junk, firewood, brush, or put ramps on it and haul a full size tractor if you want.Interior is decent for a work truck. Seat has some tears but not too bad. Its clean and everything works. AC works. Manual windows and locks.Many new parts including glow plugs and glow plug harness, glow plug relay, starter, two new batteries, and fresh fuel filter and oil change. Even has a full tank of fuel with Diesel Kleen and anti-fungus additive. Truck starts easy even in extreme cold and runs good but starts stalling when it warms up after about 15-20 minutes of driving. Needs a injector pump. I have a good used pump but I dont have the time or expertise to install it and my mechanic disappeared and I dont use it enough to spend any more on it. The spending is mostly all done.Costs $75/yr to license and $180 every 6 months for insurance as a Commercial Vehicle with Progressive.Good clean Kansas title in my name, come get it. Comes with a a good used injector pump, new spare water pump, spare starter, rad hoses, lift pump and a new fuel filter. May even include a couple gallons of 15w-40 if I'm feeling generous. I don't want this thing sitting around this summer it needs to be working hauling firewood or something.Can be set up with the tall bed sides for brush hauling or the tool boxes for masonry or construction work.
