It seats 6 adults with plenty of room. There are storage compartments behind the rear seats that fold down to carry additional cargo. The rear window has a sliding center section that has been used many times to haul long items as well as provide additional ventilation when riding with all the windows down on a nice day. Additional gauges have been added to monitor oil pressure, water temperature, vacuum, and transmission temperature. It also has an onboard air compressor to fill the rear helper bags when hauling a heavy load or towing.The truck has 211,450 miles on it. At 108,000 miles the 4.6 liter factory engine was removed and replaced with a 1970 Boss 351 Cleveland. The engine is carbureted using a holly 650 four barrel with vacuum secondarys sitting on top of an aluminum intake manifold that was port matched to the cylinder head ports. An MSD ignition box with an electronic MSD distributor and coil put fire to the spark plugs. The engine has a solid lifter cam with roller rockers covered by the original factory finned aluminum valve covers. The timing chain has been replaced with a gear drive unit. The original accessories were fitted to the engine with a serpentine belt unit. Custom headers take the exhaust away through a custom dual exhaust system.The transmission was replaced with a 4R70W overdrive transmission with a 2200 rpm stall converter. It is electronically controlled with a Bauman programmable unit that permits the lap top programing of the transmission as related to up and down shift points, stiffness of shifts, and torque converter lock up speed. There is a switch in the truck that permits switching between 2 transmission shift programs.The front has 2 drop spindles and the rear leaf springs were relocated on the frame to lower the rear of the truck.
