2004 Ford F-150 4x4

Description

-Truck runs and drives, but will need transmission work. I'll get the bad out of the way first.-The truck will not go past 2nd gear in Drive. It will drive just fine if you put it down in 2, and will get up to 50mph without the RPM's going too high. If you choose to drive it regularly, it will need to stay below 50, or you'll get the RPM's too high and damage the engine. The engine is great and strong, and starts every time.-Brake warning light on dash stays on, but brakes work fine. It has an annoying warning beep 5 beeps 5x every 30 minutes. I was told by a mechanic that If you fix the brake warning light on the dash, the warning beeps will go away. I just put up with the beeps because I didn't see the need to get it fixed since I rarely take trips longer than 30 minutes in the truck.-The heat and ac work, but only at the high setting of 4. It needs an actuator installed that's behind the glove box. I have the part, but haven't installed it. If you buy the truck you can have the part. It looked like an easy repair on youtube.-The passenger side rear door sometimes will not latch, so I rarely open it. If you accidently open it you'll just have to play with it until it shuts. The drives side rear door works fine. The drivers side window will roll down, but has a hard time getting back up.If you've read this far and still interested it's a great truck beside the transmission work. It's a strong truck and could last many more years to come. I've owned the truck for the past 5 years, and I truly hate to sell her. I have a clean TN title in hand. Serious inquiries only.
