At the time, thanks to starting its life in the mild climate of northern Alabama, it had less undercarriage rust than any comparable truck available out there, and it's spent the past three years in the dry air of Southern California.- It's been maintained on schedule throughout its life and is in all-around excellent mechanical condition. Latest maintenance at 197k included changing transfer case and differential fluids, replacing front brake pads, lubricating the driveshaft and changing the engine oil and filter. Beyond routine oil changes, next scheduled maintenance (coolant and transmission fluid) isn't for 16k miles / 20 months.- The body has some cosmetic damage from a couple of scrapes past obstacles, including light scratches and two notable dents in body panels as pictured.- Interior is in good shape. One stitched up tear on a seam in the driver’s seat and some faint stains. I’ve also built a padded locking compartment that runs the length of the area behind the seats, about 15” deep by 8” high. It’s concealed with matching auto fabric and is a great place to securely store valuables, but can also be uninstalled fairly easily.- Just passed smog check last month!THE TOPPER- 36" tall custom ARE DCU topper with radius (rounded) front, vertical sides, double rear doors, vented side WinDoors, three-panel sliding front window (allows for small pass through to cab), and roof tracks.
