Mechanics special. Needs a new timing chain. We bought this 2 years ago for our company, but don't really need it, so I don't want to pay $5000 to get it repaired. I'd rather sell it to somebody who can get themselves a good deal on an otherwise great truck. I was told that the parts for replacing the timing are not expensive, but the labor is. So anybody who has the knowledge to do it themselves or get it done for cheap can get a great deal. V-8 5.0 Liter engine. It has had all of the regular maintenance done since we owned it at Simmons Automotive in Tacoma or Firestone. 4 new tires in April of 2025; only have 7,000 miles on them. We also installed a tow package with electronic brake control. It has had very gentle use by us. Mostly dump runs and moving light materials. The timing belt is the only issue I'm aware of. It does run enough to be moved from one location to the next, so it doesn't have to be towed, assuming that you are local, but we have only driven it to the shop and back since we discovered the timing issue, as we didn't want to make it any worse. The tailgate has some paint chips and some light overspray from something. The interior is in great shape, minus some scratches on the glove box door from the previous owner.
