For Sale is a 2024 Chevy Express 2500 Cargo Van with a mild DIY campervan conversion. It has the 4.3 Liter engine and an 8 speed automatic transmission. Cruise Control, Power Windows, Power Door locks. 5 Goodyear Wrangler Outbound AT tires. Yes this van has an extra spare. It has approximately 20,600 miles on it and I just put 7200 of those miles on it over the past couple of weeks.I outfitted this van for a bucket list trip to Alaska. I intentionally kept it light to get the maximum gas mileage which averaged out to 20mpg. It has 30 amp RV Power Distribution box that provides 120 volt AC power to four outlets whenever it is hooked up to the power connection at a campground or via the Westinghouse 2550 Inverter Generator that I am including with the sale. It can easily be heated with a small electric heated . I was toasty warm on 40 degree mornings. I slept in it at rest areas, boon dock locations, and commercial campgrounds. The spare tire and generator mount to the included 500 pound capacity cargo rack.The AC to DC converter on the Powermax power distribution center charges the 12 volt AGM battery that runs the MaxxFan. It only charges when the van is connected to 120 volt power. Either via a receptacle at home or a campground, or when the generator is connected to it. I never had an issue with the battery discharging too much when I was off grid.The bed is a futon mattress I purchased from Home Depot. The frame is made from the best quality pine lumber. The van is cooled and ventilated with a Mini Maxx vent and MaxxFan. I have custom screens for the windows in the front doors and Foil window covers, designed for the Chevy Express, for complete privacy.This van was just serviced and inspected at Luther Brookdale Chevrolet Buick GMC and given an 'All's Clear".It's ready for the next adventure!Message me via Craigslist email or Chat relay for more info.
